Side Event at the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development (FfD4) – BANKING ON CHANGE: INTEGRATED FINANCING TO END HUNGER AND POVERTY

4h30 pm - 6h00 pm

Addressing hunger and poverty requires coordinated and urgent action. This side event, co-organized by Spain and Brazil, Co-chairs of the Global Alliance Against Hunger and Poverty, will highlight the importance of integrated approaches and financial innovations to mobilize and de-fragment resources, support nationally owned public policy implementation, and advance the achievement of SDG 1 and SDG 2. The session will also showcase early implementation efforts supported by the Global Alliance Against Hunger and Poverty, and explore innovative financial instruments, including the SDR-denominated hybrid capital solution developed by the African Development Bank (AfDB) and Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).

Please note that organizers are not responsible for participants’ accreditation or access to the FfD4 venue in Seville.
