Global Alliance Against Hunger and Poverty Sprints 2030 Announcements

The 2030 Sprints are a Global Alliance early action initiative to drive action on the fight against hunger and poverty. On November 15 a group of ambitious Alliance partners will announce their actions  in six core areas.

Governments, multilateral organizations, development banks and philanthropic institutions from various parts of the world announce, this Friday (15/11), transformative actions related to the Global Alliance against Hunger and Poverty. The event, open to the press, is part of the G20 Social program.

The announcements, collectively known as “Sprints 2030”, address areas of cash transfer, school feeding, socioeconomic inclusion, support for mothers and young children, support for family farming and small producers, and solutions for access to water.

The Global Alliance against Hunger and Poverty, a priority of the Brazilian presidency of the G20, will be officially launched, this Monday (18.11), during the Leaders’ Summit, in Rio de Janeiro.
