The professionals will work in the Support Mechanism of the Global Alliance hosted by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).

The true strength of the Global Alliance resides in the commitment and capacity of its 168 member countries and organizations. That strength, however, can only be unlocked by an extremely competent and dedicated team at the center of the matchmaking and partnership-building for country-led national level implementation. This is the heart of the Global Alliance´s innovative approach to fighting hunger and poverty. More details here.

Opportunities are available for qualified professionals with experience in the following areas: director; project coordinator; policy, partnerships, and communications officers; programme officers and assistants.

Desired qualifications for all positions include resilience, a commitment to the goals of the Global Alliance, a commitment to quality, spiritedness, and a willingness to move fast.

Vacancies will be announced gradually over the next few weeks in a process overseen by FAO, as the host organization for the Support Mechanism.
