The Global Alliance welcomes new members, strengthening collective efforts to combat hunger and poverty. Recent meetings emphasized the need for coordinated action to advance SDGs 1 and 2.
The Global Alliance is thrilled to extend a warm welcome to newest members, including the Czech Republic and the Sustainable School Feeding Network (RAES). We also are happy to receive the expressions of interest from Laos and Ecuador, manifested at the 48th Session of IFAD’s Governing Council, and hope they will soon join the growing coalition dedicated to eradicating hunger and poverty worldwide.
The Czech Republic and RAES join a network of dedicated partners working to implement innovative programs, share best practices, and mobilize resources to support the most vulnerable populations. Their commitment strengthens the collective ability to address the root causes of hunger and poverty and build a more equitable future for all.
The 1st Meeting of the Global Alliance Board of Champions and the 48th session of IFAD’s Governing Council have highlighted the need for collective and coordinated action to overcome the current challenges for global development and its financing. Alongside its growing number of members, the Global Alliance will make the most of these efforts, striving to achieve SDGs 1 and 2.
