The Policy Basket is the core tool of the Global Alliance. It provides a menu of rigorously evaluated policy instruments and programs, which can be adapted to specific national or subnational contexts. It is primarily intended for policymakers and policy advisors, helping them develop their country plans within the Global Alliance framework.
Upon request, willing Alliance members who committed to the Financial Support and Knowledge Pillars may support the implementation of the policy instruments included in the country plans. This model ensures that investments are directed toward cost-effective initiatives with the potential for high impact.
More broadly, the Policy Basket serves as a valuable resource for a wide range of stakeholders seeking to strengthen their understanding of policy instruments that have demonstrated effectiveness in addressing hunger and poverty.
