Description
The Social Cash Transfer Programme (SCTP) is a cornerstone of Zambia’s social protection system, which currently reaches more than 1.3 million households nationwide. The Government of Zambia is now working to scale it up through a Cash-Plus approach targeting two million households by 2030, combining regular cash transfers with complementary services, including nutrition support for mothers and young children, education support for girls, and climate‑resilient livelihood opportunities.
