The Republic of San Marino has formally joined the Global Alliance Against Hunger and Poverty , the large international coalition created to accelerate efforts against hunger, poverty and inequalities in the world , launched at the G20 summit in Brazil in November 2024 .
The decision, announced this morning by the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Territory and Environment , marks a significant step in San Marino’s international participation in the main sustainable development goals and global cooperation.
“Our membership represents a significant milestone in strengthening international cooperation on key issues,” said Secretaries of State Luca Beccari and Matteo Ciacci. “We are proud to join this Alliance to address shared challenges together.”
