This Privacy Policy (the Policy) applies to the Global Alliance Against Hunger and Poverty and is administered by its global team.
The Global Alliance Against Hunger and Poverty has a platform through which you can access the Policy Basket, an environment where you can learn about policies and programs with previously evaluated effectiveness, which can be implemented partially or fully, with the support of the Alliance Members, aligned with SDGs 1 and 2, to combat hunger and extreme poverty.
Access to the Policy Basket is free. You do not need to register as a member of the platform to access the content. Membership is required to participate in the Alliance and enjoy the benefits offered to members.
The Alliance processes personal information only to fulfill its legitimate interest in connecting people interested in policies and programs to combat hunger and poverty.
To receive our newsletter and additional information, you need to provide us with personal information, such as your name, email address, organization you are affiliated with and the position you hold. This information will not be shared with third parties, nor will it be used for corporate/advertising/commercial purposes, nor published for general access. You do not need to be a member of the platform to receive our newsletters or webinar communications.
When you access the Alliance, certain information about you, such as Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, navigation through the Site, the software used and the time spent, will be stored by web analytics servers. This information will not identify the member/visitor specifically. The information will be for internal use only, including but not limited to analyzing site traffic, and may include information obtained from cookies. The Alliance team will use the identification information for statistical and communication purposes, including but not limited to distributing newsletters and other materials in which you expressed an interest when registering.
