The Global Alliance Against Hunger and Poverty will convene its first Leaders’ Meeting on 3 November 2025, bringing together leaders, ministers, and CEOs from its 200 member countries and organizations at the Qatar National Convention Centre. The one-day gathering, held on the eve of the Second World Summit for Social Development, marks a pivotal moment in the global fight against hunger and poverty.
This will be the first high-level meeting of the Global Alliance since its launch at the G20 Summit in November 2024. Participants will review global progress towards the Alliance’s objectives, highlight the achievements of its first year, provide strategic guidance for members, and foster renewed commitments and momentum in the fight against hunger and poverty.
