Leaders share their joint vision for a world without hunger and poverty at Global Alliance Board Meeting

President Lula, Minister Wellington Dias, and Spanish Secretary of State Eva Granados highlight the role of strong global partnerships for inclusive and sustainable development

At the Second Meeting of the Board of Champions of the Global Alliance Against Hunger and Poverty, three key speeches highlighted the Alliance’s ongoing efforts and commitments. President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, the Co-Chairs of the Board, Brazilian Minister for Social Development, Assistance, Family and the Fight Against Hunger Wellington Dias, and Spanish Secretary of State for International Cooperation Eva Granados emphasized the crucial importance of strengthening global partnerships.

They also emphasized accelerating action against hunger and poverty, as well as fostering inclusive and sustainable development. The meeting took place on Monday, October 13, at the headquarters of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in Rome, Italy. Check out their speeches below.
