Description
The Integrated Maternal Health and Early Childhood Development (ECD) Programme is being designed to ensure that all children aged 0–8 and their caregivers receive integrated support to reach their full potential. Anchored in Tanzania’s Nurturing Care Framework and aligned with national development priorities, the programme shall connect maternal health, nutrition, early learning, and child protection services. Building on the gains of an earlier programme, it will embed ECD within maternal health and local government systems to close persistent equity and service delivery gaps.
