Alliance Against Hunger aims to reach 500 million people by 2030

The anti-hunger initiative plans to expand income transfer programs for people in vulnerable situations.

The Global Alliance Against Hunger and Poverty, one of Brazil’s priorities as G20 chair, aims to reach 500 million people in social vulnerability with income transfer programs by 2030.

The initiative’s goals were announced this Friday (11/15). The official launch of the Alliance will take place during the G20 Leaders’ Summit on November 18 and 19.
