The Global Health Advocacy Incubator (GHAI) is committed to making every effort to co-create and provide technical assistance, capacity building, and strengthening, training, and knowledge sharing.

The Global Health Advocacy Incubator (GHAI) is the newest member of the Global Alliance against Hunger and Poverty to strengthen the Knowledge Pillar. GHAI uses the power of advocacy to reduce preventable deaths and to improve health at scale by changing policies and strengthening systems.
In partnership with the Global Alliance, GHAI reinforces its commitment to contributing to the eradication of hunger and malnutrition worldwide. As a member, it joins a global movement that seeks to promote effective public policies and innovative solutions to address food insecurity and inequality. The organization will commit to:
- Technical assistance to help governments implement, improve or scale up key policies including school meal programs, institutional markets (like public procurement), and pro-poor food pricing.
- Advocacy for food and nutrition policies like mandatory nutritional standards in schools and public institutions, front-of-package food labeling and marketing restrictions targeting unhealthy products, especially for children.
- Fiscal policy measures to promote affordable and nutritious diets, including incentives for healthy food production and consumption, as well as taxes on sugary drinks and ultra-processed products;
- Support for local producers through initiatives such as farm-to-table programs, homegrown school feeding and promoting short value chains that link smallholder farmers to institutional markets.
- Promotion of healthy diets via food-based dietary guidelines, tailored consumer education campaigns and policies that ensure equitable access to health and affordable food.
The organization states that together with the Alliance and its members, it is committed to accelerating progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals and ensuring that no one is left behind in the fight against hunger and poverty.
